This is very rare vintage 1965 HEUER CARRERA DATO 45 that was made during the best of times at Heuer. This rare watch exhibits perfect balance in shape, colour and aesthetics. The original matte black dial with white numerals, steel baton hands and markers with white sweep seconds and red date at 12:00 is truely beautiful to look at. The case measures 35.5mm and it's original Heuer signed crown is present. The Landeron 189 manual winding movement is accurate with all chrono functions working well. There are very minor marks on the crystal and case back as to be expected in an original 44 year old watch. It is also fitted with an original authentic Heuer leather rally strap. This version of the Carrera is the rarest and I know I will regret selling this watch as it took me so long to find one and am pretty sure I won't be able to find another. If you are a Heuer collector and have a Monaco or Autavia, this would be the perfect Carrera to add to your collection. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking! I added a closer pic of the dial, although it is not as clear as I would have liked, it gives you a better look. Any distortions are either caused by the camera or crystal imperfections, not the dial.
